This page has been added to address the many emails we receive each week along the lines of "Can You Send", "Have You Got", "Can You Quote Me" etc with reference to Kyosho spare parts being exported to outside of the UK.

We realise that for some reason, supply of Kyosho spare parts particularly in the USA, Canada and Australia & New Zealand is currently poor.  For this reason we are very happy to export spares for your own use - not for trade resale to these destinations.

HAVE YOU GOT THESE PARTS IN STOCK? 

The list is a stock list from our wholesaler supplier in France, it's updated every few months - if it's on the list they believe they can either supply us from stock or can obtain the item from Japan within approx a month.  We are unable to check if individual parts are available and in-stock at the warehouse, our only communication route is to order the parts and see if they turn up.  99% of them do.

If you order the parts you need, we will place the order on our next bulk order (usually fortnightly) and when the parts arrive we'll dispatch to you.

QUANTITY LIMIT

Due to hoarding of rare parts by less than 10 of our customers, we have introduced a quantity limit on all Kyosho parts orders.   MAXIMUM order is 6 of any one part number.  No re-ordering of that same part number within 14 days.  Any order for 7 or more of a part will be changed to 6 pieces of the part when we action the order.  We are sorry to the few customers this affects, but we wish to be fairer to the several hundred who are using this service in the way it was intended to work.

I'M NOT SURE I'M ORDERING THE RIGHT PART

You need to do some research then.  Check your manual, if the part number is the same as we list (we add K. to the front of the number to identify most Kyosho parts - you need to do the same on your order) then it's going to be the same part.  If it isn't the same number, it won't fit.  We do not have cross reference material for these cars, but you can sometimes find a manual at www.kyosho.co.jp by clicking on the DOWNLOAD button on that site.

Parts are all classed as SPECIAL ORDER - we cannot accept returns unless the part has a material fault in it.

I'D LIKE YOU TO QUOTE ME THE TOTAL PRICE INCLUDING SHIPPING IN US$, CAN$, AUD etc

As we do not get these parts in until you've ordered them, we can't do this.  We charge postage purely by weight, charging within £1.00 of than the rates quoted on the UK's Post Office web site, the difference to account for packing materials.   A charge of just under £5 is added to basic postage amount on all export orders valued over £50 to cover transit insurance - this is not optional and is paid entirely to the UK Post Office to provide full cover in the event of loss in post.

We can only charge you in Sterling (UK£, GBP etc).  Please see www.xe.com for live exchange rates but bear in mind that the actual rate will be chosen by your credit card provider on the day we dispatch your order - not the day you place your order.

HOW LONG DO I NEED TO WAIT?

Timescale depends on when in our order cycle you place your order.  We place an order once every two weeks with our supplier in Europe, usually on a Sunday evening.  They then ship the package to us by courier, which allowing for picking and transit times, can take up to a week.  We then pick/pack/dispatch all orders within 24 hrs.

We can't hurry your order along.  If the package coming to us gets stuck at Customs - which they do sometimes - it'll be delayed.

Mail to USA seems to take about 10 days, Canada 7 to 10 days, Australia about a week and New Zealand seems to get airmail from the UK in about 4 days.

So please allow at minimum 2 weeks for delivery, and more commonly it's going to take 3 or 4 weeks.

Please also remember that once your order has been placed, it cannot be cancelled as these are special orders - so if you choose in the mean time to double order elsewhere, only do this if you actually want two lots of the same item...

PAYMENT WITH ORDER?

Yes and No.  You must supply a valid and current internationally enabled Visa or Mastercard, registered to the delivery address you give, when you place your order.  Nothing will be charged to this card until the day your parts are dispatched, at which point we will charge only for parts shipped plus postage.  Address Confirmation Authorisation may be seeked prior to your order being passed to our supplier - this will show as a small charge on your on-line account (if you check on-line) whilst our bank seeks authorisation (which can take up to 3 days) but this charge will automatically cancel and never reach your paper bill or end of month bill.

POSTAGE OPTION TO SELECT

If you are within the EC (European Union), select "EC, By Air, Plus 15%, Minimum £2.95" as the postage option.

If you are outside of the EC, select "Worldwide By Air, Less Vat, Plus Postage.  Minimum £2.95".  This includes the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand etc but also non-EC European countries such as Jersey and Norway.

In all European destinations, the maximum postage charge will be 15%, although we will often adjust this down where possible.   There is a minimum postage charge of £2.95.

For all non-European destinations, postage (and insurance where applicable) at cost price will be charged.  We can't quote this in advance because we don't know how heavy your order will come up.  There is a minimum postage charge of £2.95.

VAT

Here in the UK, we're blessed with a Government who like to take a large amount of tax on every purchase.  Unlike Canada and some parts of the USA, this Tax has to be included in all displayed prices.

But if you're outside of Europe, you don't need to pay this tax.  We will deduct it at point of charge. 

PLEASE QUOTE ALL PRICES ON YOUR ORDER AS SHOWN ON-SCREEN.  We will always deduct the tax prior to charging you, but if you quote a different price your order may get delayed or cancelled.   For REFERENCE ONLY so that you can calculate the cost in GBP (Sterling) without tax - take the price shown on screen and divide by 1.175.  Remember though to always quote the vat-inclusive price on your orders.   As a guide, normally the postage cost is very similar to the amount of VAT that we deduct.  Spooky that, but then the post office is also run by the government...

European EC Countries - yes, sorry but you do have to pay the VAT.
